Results From Round 8

Ah the Puzzler is smiling again 🙂 WOW 41 responses and a number of these multiples, oh and even one from Miss H’s mum, (remember you are encouraged to involve your parents just like Mis H did). Now to the answers……..

I loved Mitch S’s very elegant suggestion for the riddle though it unfortunately wasn’t quite correct. Actually no-one got the answer totally correct but two students got close and the first one to comment was

Cassie

who suggested that it was paper, (the actual answer was a tissue)

As to the pic well there were lots of great suggestions but the winner this week was

Kelly

who made the suggestion that

ripple.jpg

was an elephant that had fallen in the dolphin pool at Sea World,
what do you think?

Results From Round Two

Well done everyone on some great suggestions for Round Two of our Puzzler, Mr K-T and I had quite a few chuckles when we read through the pic suggestions. There were some excellent suggestions for the riddle too. Unfortunately there can be only one winner and these winners are;

  • For the Riddle Me contest the winner is Cassie who said
I think that Eliza drinks tea because the coffee drinkers have 2 E’s in their name. The E’s are within 1 letter of each other (example: ___e_e___). I also think Eliza drinks tea because the tea drinkers only have 1 E in their name.
  • For the What’s-the-pic the winner is Doug who suggested it is
“I think it’s a birds eye view of a teacup with two handles. “

Results From Round One

After long and hard discussions Mr KT and I have finally resolved that the winners for the inaugural BPSenpuzzler round are Fraser F for his solution to the riddle

When I am filled up I can help indicate which direction to go but when I am empty,
nothing moves me.
A Windsock, (very creative).
(For those interested, the book answer was a glove)

The What’s the Pic suggestion that tickled our fancy the most was Holly Mc’s suggestion of a Teddy Bear’s Leg, nice work Holly. Which suggestions did you like best, leave a ‘Comment’ on this post?
